Occasionally shipping delays may occur which may mean your order could take longer than this. In this case, you will be notified whenever possible. We are not obligated to issue any refunds/partial refunds on delayed orders if the delay occurs after it is dispatched by us.

All print purchases are shipped separately via Tracked and Signed delivery as standard.

Order tracking is only possible for magazine orders when the customer has paid for that delivery option and the delivery option cannot be altered after 5 hours after purchase. 

Once an order has sent, we cannot accept any responsibility for any loss or damage of an order/parcel. 

All orders are quality assessed by us before shipping and we record all shipping receipts - so if any loss or damage occurs, we have to confirm the problem with Royal Mail before we can process any refunds. If Royal Mail cannot confirm the issue with us, we may not be able to offer a refund.

We reserve the right to cancel or limit quantities of an item(s) purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing/shipping address. In the event that we make changes to an order, we will attempt to notify you by contacting the email or billing/shipping address.


When pre-ordering a product before its final release, please check the official dispatch date before purchasing. Your order will be sent on this day and will arrive to you shortly after! - See the delivery times above for reference.


If you would like to cancel your pre-order for any reason, please email your request and order number to This must be done before you receive dispatch confirmation - after then, we are not able to cancel or refund the order.


When submitting work to us via email or Instagram Direct Message, you give permission for Banal Mag to use the content provided across our platforms and may alter/crop images slightly to achieve the best design/layouts. Whenever an artist's work is shown by us, their name will always be credited. You may not be notified before your work is used, but will always be notified after it has been.

If you choose to withdraw any work from our consideration, please contact us to request this and we will delete all the associated files/data.


Returns are not accepted for any orders.


Refunds are only available on products that have been severely damaged in the delivery process.

If this is the case, please email your request to with your order number and photos of the damaged product(s). We can pass this on to our shipping provider and begin the refund process.

If there is no damage or the damage is not beyond minor cosmetic marks (non-obstructive scuffs/scratches), we cannot issue a refund - as sometimes these tiny marks are unavoidable in the production/movement of the work.

This however, should be very rare as we quality check every item before dispatch to ensure that each customer is 100% happy with their purchase. If we do happen to miss anything though, please feel free to get in touch with any issues!


By using, interacting and purchasing from, you agree for us to monitor your movement across our site. This helps us gain a better understanding of what our audience is responding to, and what we can improve on! We do not track you on any other website/app.

User information submitted into our site (when purchasing a product/submitting an enquiry/ etc) such as names, emails, phone numbers and delivery addresses are kept on our secure database and are not shared/sold to third party companies.

Photo & Essay submissions are also kept in our database but can be deleted if the individual would like to withdraw their submission. This can be done by contacting us via email at

When submitting your contact information, you agree that we may contact you via email with updates and promotions.

We will only send promotions via email, however if an issue with your order arises, we may contact you via SMS Message or by post if we cannot contact you by email.
